However, my wife has no issues with the keyboard- I guess, this is one of those “try before you buy” things. I have slightly large hands (ok- that’s an understatement) and thus the tiny keyboard of the Eee PC certainly limited my typing speed. Since cold booting is very fast, you can save battery life by shutting down the machine instead of putting it to sleep. Speaking of battery life, we managed to get almost three hours out of this little PC which is pretty awesome. I can understand that this will raise the costs slightly as well as lower the battery life by a bit but its probably a sacrifice most will be willing to make. While the 7” LCD gets the job done, ASUS should really look into increasing the size of the screen and resolution in future models as there is plenty of space around the screen where speakers are placed and at times I felt viewing extra information on screen without scrolling. You will only remember it when you need to pull it out from sack and when you want to return it there. Because of its small dimensions you won’t even feel it wearing it in your backpack. You can enjoy in comfortable typing even if you are sitting right to someone in subway (metro) or any other form of (public) transportation.
